The Bearhug Rain Sound Tube is a modern sensory toy and relaxation tool designed to produce a realistic, soothing sound of falling rain. It is a visually appealing, hands-on instrument that provides a calming experience for both the mind and body.
Core Concept and Design
- Inspiration: It is inspired by traditional rain sticks, which are believed to have originated in South America and were used in rituals to call for rain.
- Appearance: It typically consists of a durable, transparent plastic tube. The transparency is a key feature, allowing you to see the mechanism inside.
- Internal Mechanism: Inside the tube, there is a spiral or coiled track (like a screw-thread) and tiny beads or pellets.
- How It Works: The magic happens when you slowly flip the tube. The beads travel down the spiral track, cascading from one level to the next. As they bounce off the walls of the tube and each other, they create a gentle, randomized "pitter-patter" sound that is remarkably similar to a soft rainfall.
- Keep Away from Water & Alcohol: All solid wood toys are water-sensitive. Do not wash with water or alcohol. Simply wipe clean with a dry cloth.
- No Disinfectants Needed: Quality wood has a natural micro-cycle. Avoid using disinfectants or sterilizing cabinets. Good wood becomes more beautiful with age and proper care.
- Safe for Chewing, But Not for Eating: Finished with non-toxic water-based paint, these toys are safe for mouthing. However, this does not mean they should be intentionally chewed or consumed in large amounts.
- Moisture Care for the Finish: Our eco-friendly paint meets the highest safety standards for infants. As it is water-based, avoid using wet wipes and periodically condition the wood with a dry cloth to maintain the finish.
Returns will be accepted for up to 30 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
– Received the wrong item.
– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
